This is an astronomy night for the Pittsville Library in Maryland Pittsville is located off route 50 a few miles east of Salisbury, Md. The library is part of the Wicomico library system.
The Delmarva Stargazers have visited the library many times over the years. It is unusual that a Library would hold any astronomy event when the normal ours are 10:00am – 6:00pm and it isn’t truly dark until 9:30PM but this library is different.
This will be very close to a new moon and in a rural residential location. We will meed behind the library away from the school lights this time.
Weather permitting (up to 20% cloud cover) we could use a couple of people and telescopes. If you just want to come out you’re welcome too.
